We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef specialising in Scottish cuisine to join our kitchen team. This role is ideal for a culinary professional who takes pride in preparing both traditional and modern Scottish dishes, using quality local ingredients while maintaining the highest food standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook traditional and contemporary Scottish dishes to a high standard

  • Ensure consistency in flavour, presentation, and portion control

  • Maintain full compliance with food hygiene, health & safety regulations

  • Assist in menu development, seasonal specials, and sourcing local produce

  • Monitor stock levels and minimise food waste

  • Supervise, guide, and support kitchen staff when required

  • Maintain kitchen cleanliness and ensure efficient workflow at all times

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Chef specialising in Scottish cuisine

  • Strong knowledge of Scottish ingredients and traditional cooking techniques

  • Good understanding of UK food safety and hygiene regulations

  • Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment

  • Strong organisational and teamwork skills
